‘Pieces of PAST’ Quilt, Table Show celebrates 10th anniversary

The PAST organization will celebrate the 10th anniversary of its “Pieces of the PAST” Quilts and Tables Show on Saturday, April 14.  

The theme this year is “Through the Seasons: A Glimpse of the PAST.”

As a part of the luncheon program, a quilt turning will feature a “glimpse” of selected exhibits from each of the past 10 years’ events. Guests can expect to hear a decade of stories to accompany the quilts from that “season.”

The 2012 Quilts and Tables Event will be April 14 at the Anna Heights Baptist Church Family Life Center at 100 Turner Ave. in Anna.  

Quilts and tables will be on exhibt from 9 a.m. to noon; admission is $10.

A noon luncheon  prepared by HCE will be served at the artistic table settings.  

A special presentation of “Mrs. Lincoln’s Seamstress, Mrs. Keckly” will begin about 1 p.m., and will be followed by the anniversary quilt turning.  

Admission to the luncheon, program and quilt turning is by reservation for $25.
