2015 weather reviewed
<p class="p1">Weather in the region during 2015 was highlighted by temperature extremes and lots of precipitation.</p><p class="p1">The website for the National Weather Service office in Paducah posted a monthly review of weather highlights in the region for 2015.</p><p class="p1">The listing included months that ranked in the top 10 in terms of the cold, heat, precipitation (or lack of precipitation) and snow. Here’s a look at the highlights:</p><p class="p1">January: Ninth wettest on record in Cape Girardeau.</p><p class="p1">February: Second coldest on record, second snowiest on record in Paducah. Second coldest on record in Cape Girardeau. </p><p class="p1">March: Sixth wettest on record, second snowiest on record in Paducah.
