Adams new Union County Supervisor of Assessments

Angela Adams of Ullin took the oath of office as Union County’s new supervisor of assessments Tuesday morning. Judge Mark Boie administered the oath of office. The ceremony took place at the Union County Courthouse in Jonesboro. Adams was appointed to the post Monday evening at a continued meeting of the Union County Board of Commissioners. Adams was in her sixth year as supervisor of assessments in Pulaski County. Adams, who has three children, said she is looking forward to meeting the people of Union County. She succeeds longtime assessor Gene Plott, who retired May 31. Photo by The Gazette-Democrat.
