Alto Pass Springfest scheduled

Alto Pass is planning to host a Springfest celebration Saturday, May 23.

Activities will take place in downtown Alto Pass.

The schedule of activities includes:

A flea market beginning at 8 a.m., with arts, crafts, food and other vendors.

A parade at 10 a.m.

Free activities for children and adults.

Chicken and dumplings in the Alto Pass Fire Department firehouse starting at 11 a.m. The dinner is in honor of all the alumni students of Alto Pass. Profits go for upkeep of the fire department.

An Alto Pass school reunion and a veterans service.

A raffle.

DJ music in the downtown pavilion until 2 p.m.

Live music and contra dancing from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Springfest is being sponsored by the Alto Pride Community Group and area sponsors.
