Anna woman faces drug-related charges
A Union County woman has been charged with two counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance.
Union County State’s Attorney Tyler R. Edmonds said the charges, both Class 1 felonies, were filed against Timara Sue Kessler of 103 McKinley St. in Anna.
Kessler allegedly sold prescription drugs from her residence and business located at the McKinley Street address in June of this year.
The state’s attorney announced the arrest on Sept. 30.
Kessler was being held at the Tri-County Detention Center at Ullin on $350,000 bond.
Her first appearance in Union County Circuit Court in Jonesboro was scheduled for last Friday.
Kessler was arrested on Sept. 30 as police executed a search warrant at 103 McKinley St.
The arrest followed a three-month-long investigation by the Union County Drug Task Force and Anna Police Department.
