Attend the fair

A Union County tradition continues during the coming week.

The 2010 Union County Fair starts this weekend at the Anna City Park in Anna.

Again this year, the fair will offer a wide range of activities, including a pet parade, a community worship service, a queen pageant, go kart racing, rodeo action, tractor pulls, harness racing, demolition derbies, a junior livestock auction, livestock and agricultural exhibits, and much, much more.

The county fair offers us an opportunity to reflect on the rich agricultural heritage which has played such an important role in the life and history of the community.
