Attend A-JCHS musical
To the editor,
This year the spring musical at the Anna-Jonesboro High School is Roger and Hammerstein’s "Cinderella."
It was with much trepidation that the decision was made to attempt a production of this magnitude, but it was also determined that this would be a production that the community would enjoy.
Therefore, the students, staff and theatre boosters are hoping that everyone does just that by turning out to see all their hard work.
Just as last year, the show is one that the whole family can enjoy.
The stage crew has been building sets since December, while the actors have been practicing just as long.
The production includes young actors from the Anna and Jonesboro junior high schools who both improve the performance and help insure future interest in the performing arts at A-J.
That is in addition to the many talented high school students that make a production such as this possible.
All the student actors, along with the director Terrie Hale, music director Renee McLane and stage crew manager Tina Vancil have worked hard to create another grand theatrical production for the community to enjoy.
All that is needed is your presence at the A-J auditorium on April 16 and 17 at 7 p.m. and on April 18 at 2 p.m. Everyone looks forward to seeing you there.
Sincerely, Allen W. James, Anna
