Berneice E. Dahmer

Berneice E. Dahmer, 88, of Jonesboro, died at 4:47 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010, at her home.

She was born Feb. 19, 1922, in West Frankfort, the daughter of Elmer and Opal Lela (Clam) Ice.

Berneice attended Big Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include her significant other, Delbert Knupp of Jonesboro; a sister, Patricia Joan Oliver of Clarkston, Mich.; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by a son, Gary Curtis Young.

Graveside services for Berneice were Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010, at 3 p.m. at the Jonesboro Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Aldridge officiating.

Interment was in the Jonesboro Cemetery.
