Cache River Days pageants set in September

Participants are being sought for the 15th annual Cache River Days beauty pageants.

The pageants are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, at the Leona Brust Civic Center in Ullin.

Contestants must be residents of Pulaski, Union, Alexander, Johnson or Massac counties.

Miss Cache River pageant participants must be 16 to 21 years of age, never been married and have no children.

The Little Miss Cache River pageant is open to girls ages 4 to 6 who live in the previously noted five Southern Illinois counties.

The deadline to enter the pageants is Aug. 15.
