Century 50, Dongola 41

Century built an early lead on its way to a 50-41 win over host Dongola in South Egyptian Conference high school girls’ basketball Monday, Dec. 20.

The Lady Centurions were ahead 16-11 after one quarter and 30-23 at the half. Dongola trailed 46-30 going into the final period.

Michaela Penrod had 11 points to lead the Lady Demons. Emily Terbrak added 9 points and Victoria Shirkey and Haley Fuller 6 apiece, Brittany Hinkle 5 and Reba Robinson and Jodi Schultz 2 apiece.

Dongola is 3-5 overall.
