'Christmas in Cobden'

To the editor,

On behalf of the Cobden Community and Business Association, as well as the Village of Cobden, I want to say a huge “Thank You!” to everyone who contributed to the overwhelming success of the village’s first “Christmas in Cobden” event! 

So many people from so many aspects of the village worked on putting this event together over the past several months. 

Their time and hard work obviously paid off, for the village was truly filled with the genuine "spirit of Christmas" throughout the entire day! 

How proud and grateful I am to call such a large-hearted and enthusiastic community my home! 

And yes, you can mark the first Saturday of December, 2010, for another magnificent “Christmas in Cobden” celebration!
