Cobden 56, Christopher 49

Steve Draper scored 23 points to lead Cobden to a 56-49 win over visiting Christopher in non-conference high school boys’ basketball action Tuesday, Dec. 16.

Robby Lehr had 19 points for the Appleknockers. Alex Sweitzer and Allan Brumleve added 6 points apiece and Josh Chapman 2.

Christopher pulled ahead 16-13 after one quarter and was ahead 31-28 at the half. The Bearcats were in front 38-37 headed into the final period. The Appleknockers made a 22-11 run in the final quarter to pull out the come-from-behind win.

Cobden improved to 5-3 overall.
