Congratulations, Top Achievers

This week's paper features a special section which recognizes the 2010 Top Achievers from Union County's four public high schools. Students from Anna-Jonesboro, Cobden, Dongola and Shawnee high schools are being honored.

The Gazette-Democrat/Reppert Publications has hosted the Top Achievers program for many years with the cooperation and support of financial institutions, businesses and organizations from throughout the Union County area.

The Top Achievers program honors six seniors from each of the four high schools. Each of the seniors has achieved outstanding success during their years in high school.

The students were honored at a program held Friday, April 23, at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Carroll P. Foster Post No. 3455 home near Anna.

This week, we again take an opportunity to congratulate the 2010 Top Achievers. We also congratulate the parents and families of each of the students.

To each of the Top Achievers, we say: Job well done, and good luck in your future endeavors.
