Emmett Lee Duncan

<p style="line-height: 150%;" class="MsoNormal"><strong style=""><span style="font-size: 14pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Cambria;">Mr. Emmett Lee Duncan, age 67 of Anna, died at 12:37 a.m. Sunday, November 13, 2011 at his home in Anna. He was born January 6, 1944 in Thomaston, Georgia, the son of Emmett Lee and Sarah Chaney Duncan. He married Karen Wright on August 16, 1975 in Michigan City, IN.</span></strong></p>

<p style="line-height: 150%;" class="MsoNormal"><strong style=""><span style="font-size: 14pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Cambria;"><span style="">        </span> Emmett is survived by his wife Karen Duncan of Anna; three children, Melissa Duncan of Anna, Daniel Duncan of Jonesboro, and Jennifer Duncan of St. Louis, MO; one grandchild, Matthew Duncan; two brothers, Wilbert Duncan of Norwich, CT, Harold Gilliam of Vancouver, WA; one sister, Kyanne Coulton of Norwich, CT; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Dawn Duncan; and one brother, Donald Gilliam.</span></strong></p>

<p style="line-height: 150%;" class="MsoNormal"><strong style=""><span style="font-size: 14pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Cambria;"><span style="">        </span> Emmett was a member of the Eagles Nest Watch in Cobden. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy from 1962 to 1970 and the Army National Guard from 1978 to 1992. Emmett was a retired Physician Assistant for many years.</span></strong></p>

<p style="line-height: 150%;" class="MsoNormal"><strong style=""><span style="font-size: 14pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Cambria;"><span style="">        </span> Memorial services for Mr. Emmett Lee Duncan will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 17, 2011 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. and until the service hour on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice. Envelopes will be available at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.</span></strong></p>
