Evacuation order for Union County lifted

As of 8 a.m. this morning, Jan. 6, the voluntary evacuation order has been lifted for all areas of Union County that were affected by the recent threat of flooding conditions.

Union County Sheriff's Office.911, Union County Ambulance Service and the Union County Emergency Management Agency want to express their appreciation to all the citizens who cooperated with the voluntary evacuation request.

They continued saying thanks volunteers and businesses for donating their time and supplies.
