Farmer's market slated to open in Cobden

A farmers' market (People's Market) is planned in Cobden starting Saturday, June 6.

Hours will be from 8 a.m. to noon each Saturday until Nov. 1.

The farmers' market will be held at the former People's Market site on South Front Street (Old Route 51) in Cobden. A sign will be posted.

Vendor space is available to residents of Union County who grow or produce their own products in the county.

The market will be open to the public.

The People's Market is part of a planned series of events designed to promote Cobden and its economic development.
