Frances Seals Phalin
Frances Seals Phalin, 75, of Vienna and formerly of Perks, died at 4:55 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14, 2009, at Union County Hospital in Anna.
She was born on Oct. 3, 1934, in Grand Chain, the daughter of Theodore and Fannie Eddleman Goins.
She married Frank Seals in 1951. He preceded her in death in 1978. She married Clifford Phalin in 1984. He preceded her in death in 1993.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Patricia Dickerson of McClure, Rose (James) Knotts of Vienna and Patty Marshall of Buncombe; two sons, Alfred “Bubbie” (Debbie) Seals of McClure and Richard (Carol) Seals of Grand Chain; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; two sisters, Maude Webb of Marion and Pauline Johnson of Murray, Ky.; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husbands; her parents; one son, Joe Seals in infancy; and eight brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, today, at Crain Funeral Home in Ullin. Interment will be in Ullin Cemetery.
Memorials can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
