The Gazette-Democrat goes online

This week marked the launch of <a href="http://www.annanews.com">www.annanews.com</a>, The Gazette-Democrat’s new news and information web site. Access to the site is free.

“Our new online edition reflects the newspaper’s commitment to remaining Union County’s primary source of news and advertising, regardless whether that content is delivered on paper or via the Internet.” said publisher Jerry L. Reppert.

The new site includes highlights from each week’s printed version of The Gazette-Democrat.

All obituaries are included, and the site will soon feature complete classified advertising listings.

“Where we are now is just a start,” said general manager Jim West who is coordinating the project. “We’re planning to constantly update, improve and expand the site.”
