Grateful for care

To the editor,

In July, my husband, Joseph Merk, a World War II veteran, spent three days in the Union County Hospital.

We want to acknowledge the excellent care he received during his stay there.

We want to thank everyone involved directly, or indirectly, in his care.

It is comforting to know that he experienced such a high level of care, right here at home.
