Holiday reception set at Shawnee

<p class="p1">Shawnee Community College is planning to host its annual holiday reception.</p><p class="p1">The reception is scheduled from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 2 in the K atrium building on the college's main campus near Ullin.</p><p class="p1">The college notes that it is inviting the community to attend the reception, which will feature more than 15 local vendors who will offer a variety of products.</p><p class="p1">Organizers ask those who plan to attend the reception to bring a non-perishable food item that the college's wellness and cultural committee will donate to local food pantries for the holiday season.</p>
