A-J baseball team 11-11 following three losses
The Anna-Jonesboro High School baseball team has struggled in recent action with three losses.
Harrisburg 15, A-J 2: Gabe Pecord was 1-for-2 with an RBI to lead host A-J Monday, May 11.
Cody Livesay was 1-for-3 with an RBI.
Luke Partridge and Jordan Adams pitched in the loss.
Partridge pitched 5 innings and allowed 11 hits to go with a strikeout and 5 walks.
Adams pitched an inning and allowed 6 hits to go with 2 strikeouts and no walks.
Rochester 5, A-J 2: Jordan Chamness was 2-for-3 with a home run and an RBI to lead the Wildcats in the loss at Troy Saturday, May 9.
Adam Kelley was 1-for-3 with a double. Cody Livesay was 1-for-3 with an RBI. Cody Wheaton and Partridge were each 1-for-3.
Shawn Stone and Kelley pitched in the loss.
Stone pitched 4 innings and allowed 5 hits to go with a strikeout and 4 walks.
Kelley pitched 3 innings and allowed 3 hits.
