Jonesboro splits in recent play

The Jonesboro Schoolboys’ basketball team split in recent junior high school  action.

Following are game summaries;

Giant City 57, Jonesboro 46: Tyler Vaughn scored 14 points to lead host Jonesboro in the loss Wednesday, Dec. 2.,

Damian Reed added 13 points, Dakota Easterly 5, Trey Pender, Ben McFarland and Noah Fuller 4 apiece and Zane DeWitt 2.

Fuller scored 10 points to lead Jonesboro to a 32-23 win over Giant City in the junior varsity game.

Derek Harvell added 8 points, DeWitt 6, Garrett Naudeau 4 and Issac Pender and Dallas Marks 2 apiece.

Jonesboro 45, Egyptian 38: Vaughn scored 14 points to lead visiting Jonesboro Tuesday, Dec. 1.

Reed added 12 points, Trey Pender 8, Fuller 5 and Easterly, McFarland and Nadeau 2 apiece.

DeWitt scored 14 points to lead Jonesboro to a 50-8 win over Egyptian in the junior varsity game.

Isaac Pender added 10 points, Fuller 8, Marks 7, Harvell 5, Nadeau 4 and Garrett Cook 2.
