Landmark event

Members of the Anna-Jonesboro Women's Club are celebrating a landmark event in 2012. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the club.

To commemorate this very special milestone, the club is planning to have an anniversary tea from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, April 2, in the fellowship hall at the United Methodist Church in Anna. The tea is open to the public.

We take this opportunity to congratulate the Anna-Jonesboro Women's Club on the celebration of its 100th anniversary.

Throughout the years, members of the women's club have dedicated themselves to making our community a better place to live. To have shared this kind of service for a century is an especially noteworthy accomplishment.
