Names on a veterans monument in Cobden remind all who pass by of those who served to help keep our nation free, safe and secure.
On Monday, May 31, Union County will join the rest of the nation in commemorating Memorial Day.
In observance of the holiday, Memorial Day services are being planned throughout the area. We encourage Union County residents to be a part of these services.
On Memorial Day, let us remember those who served, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice, on our behalf. Let us never forget.
