Lewis Price

Lewis Price, 95, of Boaz, Ala., and formerly of Olmsted, died Monday, May 18, 2009, at Riverview Regional Medical Center in Gadsden, Ala.

He was born on Nov. 21, 1913, in Pulaski County, the son of Jerome H. and Bessie Bagby Price. 

He married Elsie Schultz on April 6, 1937. She preceded him in death on Jan. 17, 1992.

He was a member of Cache Chapel United Methodist Church. He was an electrician and a farmer.

He is survived by eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; one son, Frank Price; one daughter, Laverne Willis; two brothers, Jerome Price and Farris Billingsley; and two sisters, Ruby Corzine and Flora Billingsley.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 22, at Crain Funeral Home in Ullin with Pastor Mike Schearer officiating. Interment will be in Cache Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, today, at Crain Funeral Home in Ullin, which is in charge of arrangements.
