Lick Creek School Board petitions available

Nominating petition forms are available for the April 5, 2011, Lick Creek School District 16 Board of  Education election.

Five seats on the seven-member school board will be filled in the election.

Candidates can file for either a four-year term or a two-year term.

Forms can be picked up in the district office at Lick Creek School between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. on any business day.

Candidates can begin filing nominating petitions no earlier than 7:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 13, at the school. Filing ends Monday, Dec. 20.

The names of candidates will appear on the election ballot in the order in which their nominating papers have been received in the district office.
