Lick Creek School District referendum focus of meeting
The Lick Creek School District No. 16 Board of Education has called a special meeting for Tuesday, Jan. 5. The meeting will be at 7 p.m. in the school's gymnasium.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss a referendum which has been placed on the ballot for the Feb. 2, 2010, primary election.
The school district's superintendent and board of education members plan to present several items of information regarding the referendum.
Members of the public will be given a chance to ask the superintendent and board members questions about the referendum regarding its impact, costs to taxpayers, the financial needs of the district, future plans and any other related concerns.
