Michael Jay Walker

Nov. 12, 2010, Michael J. Walker, of Grover, Mo., formerly of Ullin, escaped the confines of a chronic illness.

Mike is survived by his mother, Martha Sandlin, Grover, Mo.; his father and stepmother, Tom and Peggy Walker, Ullin; his beloved son and daughter-in-law, Joshua Walker and Alicia Rueter and recently became a grandfather to their son, Andrew Michael Walker. He was a dear brother to Rhonda Walker-Karl and her husband, David Karl.

Mike was a dear friend to many. Although Mike will be greatly missed by his family and friends it is a comfort to know that his suffering has ended, and he has found peace.

Mike was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Keith “Mutt” and Florence Walker, and maternal grandparents, Earnest and Bertha Sandlin.

Memorial services for Michael J. Walker will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010, at Cache Chapel Methodist Church near Ullin with Rev. Mike Sharp officiating. Interment will follow in the Cache Chapel Cemetery.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. Saturday at the church.
