Anna Police Department shares thanks
The Anna Police Department this week shared a message on social media in recognition of National Law Enforcement Appreciation Week. The commemoration is this week.
In its message, the department thanked and acknowledged its partner agencies, the Jonesboro Police Department and Union County Sheriff's Office.
“We appreciate all the hard work, dedication, and professional service you provide to our communities and citizens each and every day,” the message shared.
“We also recognize our Union County Dispatchers who make sure our citizens receive the services they need.
“Last, but certainly not least, the Anna Police Department wishes to thank and acknowledge the Union County State's Attorney’s Office. Your efforts to halt criminal activity and help victims is the ultimate goal of every law enforcement agency.
“This week, the Anna Police Department also stands with all our law enforcement agencies nationwide as we remember those whom we have lost this year. You are gone but never forgotten.”
