Christmas in Downtown Anna celebration slated for Saturday
Christmas in Downtown Anna will be celebrated Saturday, Nov. 24.
The holiday season event will feature a wide range of activities, including pictures with Santa Claus.
The Shawnee Hills Arts Council plans to host its fifth annual Reindeer Run 5K run/walk at 8 a.m. A kids’ fun run is set for 9 a.m.
The Shawnee Hills Council’s Anna Arts Center plans to host a holiday bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The arts center is located at 125 W. Davie St. in Anna.
Free pictures with Santa Claus will be available from 8:30 a.m. to noon at Anna-Jonesboro National Bank’s downtown location at 201 S. Main St.
A holiday bazaar is planned from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church. The church is located at the corner of South Main and Jefferson streets.
The Auxiliary to the Carroll P. Foster Post No. 3455 plans to host a craft,vendor expo from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, in the lower gymnasium at Anna-Jonesboro Community High School.
Lighting of a Christmas tree in Downtown Anna is planned at 6 p.m.
A free Christmas concert is planned at 7 p.m. at St. Anne’s Church, which is located along South Main Street, not far from Stinson Memorial Library. The concert will be hosted by Margie Brymer, Steve Hornbeak and family.
