Teacher receives award

Jamie Nash-Mayberry, a teacher at Shawnee Junior-Senior High School at Wolf Lake, has been honored by the Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Nash-Mayberry received a citation for winning the Smart-Maher VFW National Citizenship Education Award on the local level and a check for winning on the district level. Her entry has been forwarded to the state level for judging.
