Veterans Day parade set in Anna

Carroll P. Foster Post No. 3455 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Anna plans to host its annual Veterans Day parade on Sunday, Nov. 11. The parade is set for 2 p.m. in Anna.
The theme for this year’s parade will be “Honoring Our Blue Star and Gold Star Families.”
Blue Star families are those whose son or daughter is actively serving in the military when the country is engaged in hostilities or war, even if they are stateside.
Blue Star parents who would like to ride on a float are asked to contact the VFW post at 833-5182: leave your name and a telephone number so that someone can contact you about the event.
