'Night in Bethlehem' to be presented at church in Cobden

<p class="p1">A Union County church is planning to present a special Christmas season event again this year.</p><p class="p1">The First Baptist Church in Cobden is planning to host "A Night in Bethelem"  on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 11-13.</p><p class="p1">"A Night in Bethlehem" tours are planned from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. each day. </p><p class="p1">Tours are scheduled to begin every 10 minutes. Admission is free. The church sees the event as a gift to the community.</p><p class="p1">The event offers visitors a chance to see what life might have been like during the time of the birth of Jesus.</p><p class="p1">The church noted that those who come to the event will have an opportunity to "wander through the streets of Bethlehem and visit shops in the marketplace.</p><p class="p1">"You will hear festive music, nibble and make treats from a bakery or candy shop. Watch as items are crafted and displayed and have the opportunity to create items yourself at the marketplace shops to take home with you.</p><p class="p1">"Visit the citizens of Bethlehem. You will experience what life was like during this miraculous time.</p><p class="p1">"Finish your evening by visiting a 'living' nativity like you have never before experienced."</p><p class="p1">While preregistration is not required to visit "A Night in Bethlehem," it is suggested by the church.
