'A Night in Bethlehem' set at Cobden church
A Union County church is planning to host a special Christmas season event which is open to the community.
"A Night in Bethlehem" is planned Sunday and Monday, Dec. 20-21, at First Baptist Church in Cobden.
The church is located at 200 S. Walker St.
"A Night in Bethlehem" will be presented from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday.
Tours through Bethlehem are scheduled to start every 10 minutes.
Preregistration is not required, but is suggested. Reservations also will be taken on the evenings of the event.

Visitors to "A Night in Bethlehem" will be able to "wander through the streets and visit a number of different shops in the marketplace." Crafts and music are planned.
The highlight will be when visitors follow "shepherds to visit the live display at the manger where the Christ-Child was born."
