Isaac ‘Ike’ Richardson

Isaac “Ike” Richardson, 74, of McClure, died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023,  at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Evansville, Ind. 

He was born on Jan. 12, 1949, in Hornersville, Mo., the son of C.W. and Esther Barton Richardson.

Mr. Richardson is survived by his siblings, Barbara Sterling of Bakersfield, Calif., Glenda Moore of California, Katie Copert of Montana, Brenda Hennings of California and Jimmy (Leona) Richardson of Anna; nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and four sisters. 

He loved the Lord. He read a Bible verse every day. He greatly enjoyed travelling and being outdoors. He had a very charitable spirit; he spent a lot of time helping the homeless and others in need. No one ever had a bad thing to say about him.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Friendship Cemetery in Dongola, with Bill Littrell officiating. Friends can call from 12:30 p.m. until the service hour at 1 p.m. at the cemetery. 

Memorials can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the cemetery, as well as at the funeral home.
