Anna-Jonesboro Community High School student athlete Trenton Turner has signed a national letter of intent to play track and field and football at Illinois College in Jacksonville.
He plans to enroll in the college’s 3 and 2 program and to earn a bachelor’s degree in biology and nursing.
The Shawnee Community College licensed practical nursing, LPN, program has been ranked third in the State of Illinois, according to PracticalNursing.org.
The program scored an overall 99.19 out of 100, and placed third out of 36 total programs offered throughout the state.
