Ann Harvick
Ann Harvick, 94, of Mesa, Ariz., and formerly of Anna, died at 9:43 p.m. Sunday, April 30, 2017, at her son’s home in Arizona.
She was born on Sept. 27, 1922, in McClure, the daughter of Frank and Lucille Moore Crissip.
She married Harvalee D. Harvick on Jan. 3, 1946, in Metropolis.
She is survived by her husband, Harvalee D. Harvick of Mesa, Ariz.; a son, John Mark (Marla) Harvick of Mesa, Ariz.; two grandsons, Shawn Harvick of Maryland Heights, Mo., and David (Allie) Harvick of Nashville, Tenn.; two great-grandchildren, Preston Harvick of Nashville, Tenn., and Jaydn Richardson of Maryland Heights, Mo.; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Thomas Crissip; five sisters, Pauline Frogg, Louise Mayer, Catherine Goettyn, Mildred “Judy” Crissip and Lucille “Susie” Patton.
She loved to sew and made many quilts that will be passed down through the generations. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Anna and as a recent member of the Desert Sand Church of Christ in Mesa, Ariz.
Funeral services for Ann Harvick will be at noon Saturday, May 6, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna, with Brian McAlister officiating. Interment will be in the Christian Chapel Cemetery.
Friends can call after 11 a.m. Saturday, May 6, until the service hour at noon.
Memorials can be made to the Church of Christ in Anna or to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
