Barbara Corzine

Barbara Corzine, 90, of Dongola, died Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021, at Union County Hospital in Anna. 

She was born on Aug. 20, 1931, in Dongola, the daughter of Dock and Lucrecia West Acuff. 

She married Esco B. Corzine on Sept. 2, 1956. He preceded her in death on Sept. 17, 2004.

She is survived by one son, Kyle (Jane) Corzine of Dongola; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; siblings Emerson, Paul, Lottie, Lyndal, Beatrice, Fred, William David and Darrell; her half-brothers, Bill Corzine and Frank Acuff; and half-sisters, Ethel, Irma, Ann Lee and Mary Acuff.

She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Dongola. She worked in the optometry and eye care industry for over 40 years. She, along with her husband, loved to garden.

Funeral services for Barbara Corzine were at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna, with Larry Jordan officiating. Interment followed in Friendship Cemetery in Dongola.
