Betty Goins Schultz

Betty Goins Schultz, 88, of Anna, died Friday, Sept. 2, 2016, at 3:45 p.m. at Union County Hospital in Anna.

She was born on March 17, 1928, in Illinois, the daughter of Theodore and Hazel Goins.

She was a longtime member of the United Pentecostal Church of Dongola. She had a strong faith and a deep love for the Lord. She loved her family. They were her pride and joy. She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed socializing with her friends and family.

She is survived by her sons, Robert (Charlotte) Schultz, Danny (Karen) Schultz and Charles “Skipper” (Lellia) Schultz; her daughters, Sharon Goins and Karen (Bradley) Toler; 18 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brothers Ted Goins, Bob (Flo) Goins, Glen (Jane) Goins and Eddie (Donna) Goins; sisters Joyce Cameron, Lucille (Timmy) Temke and Wilma (Jack) Roach; nieces, nephews and many other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Louise McRaven; a grandson, Keith McRaven; a brother, Gary Goins; and sisters Wanda Carson and Cynthia White.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 4, at the United Pentecostal Church in Dongola, with the Rev. Robert Goins officiating. Interment was in the Anna City Cemetery.

Crain Funeral Home in Anna-Jonesboro was in charge of arrangements.
