Brian Edwards

Brian Edwards, 53, of Anna, died Saturday, Feb. 12. 2022, at his home. 

He was born on Dec. 16, 1968, in Cape Girardeau, the son of Johnny C. and Edith “Katie” McHughes Edwards. 

Mr. Edwards is survived by his mother, Katie Edwards of Anna; sons Christopher Edwards of Anna and Chandler Edwards of Jonesboro; a daughter, Abbie Edwards of Anna; two grandchildren, Waylon and Everly K. Edwards; a brother, Anthony (Cindy) Edwards of Anna; a niece, Jordan Edwards; other relatives and friends. He had a special little dog and buddy, “Willie.” 

He was preceded in death by his father and by his grandparents.

Mr. Edwards worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator with E.T. Simonds. He was a member of the Local 318 Operating Engineers. He was a life member of the Carroll P. Foster Post No. 3455 Auxiliary. 

Mr. Edwards was an avid outdoorsman. He loved gardening, playing pool, hunting for mushrooms and arrowheads, fishing and fish fries. 

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, today, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Friends can call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, today, at the funeral home.
