Caran M. Mayberry

Caran M. Mayberry, 77, of Jonesboro, died Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2021, at St. Louis University Medical Center in St. Louis.

She was born on July 31, 1944, in Alto Pass, the daughter of Henry Moses and Daisy Mae Craft Tellor.

She is survived by her mother, Daisy Mae Tellor of Jonesboro; a daughter, Julie (Bobbie) Blanchard of Olmsted; a son, Virgil “George” (Marilyn) Land of Jonesboro; three grandchildren, Jennifer Land, Miranda (Matthew) Morgan and Tifney Land; four great-grandchildren, Abigail, Xailex and Keivin Morgan and Madilyn Hinkle; a sister, Rosemary Mowery of Anna; a special friend, Brad Sadler of Jonesboro; other relatives and many friends. 

She was preceded in death by her father and sister, Ruby Adams. 

She was a talented beautician, who had run her own business since the 1970s. 

Private services will be held for her family.
