Chad M. Buchanan

Chad M. Buchanan, 39, of Jonesboro, died Monday, Oct. 31, 2016, at his home.

He was born on Feb. 7, 1977, in Bloomington, the son of Larry David and Cathy Goodman Buchanan.

He is survived by his son, Ian Buchanan at home; a daughter, Chloe Gamber of Anna; his mother, Cathy Carter of Jonesboro; a brother, Brannon (Elizabeth) Buchanan of Nixa, Mo.; other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He loved motorcycles and cars, listening to and playing music. He enjoyed being outside, occasionally climbing a tower, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. His family said they will miss his witty smile, his room filling with laughter and his sincere company; and that he was a friend who continues to inspire everyone to live life from the heart.

A celebration of his life was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna, with the Rev. Gerald Goodman officiating.

The preferred form of remembrances are memorial contributions made to Ian McKay Buchanan.
