Christopher Evan Michael Hinman

Christopher Evan Michael Hinman, 20, of Newbern, Tenn., died Friday, Aug. 12, 2022, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tenn.

He was born on Dec. 3, 2001, in Cape Girardeau. Mr. Hinman was an employee of Ermco.

Funeral services for Mr. Hinman were at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, in the chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home in Newbern, Tenn. Hunter Grills, Doug Johnson and Jim Keeling officiated.

Interment will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 22, at Spencer Heights Cemetery in Mounds. The Rev. Buddy Walls will officiate.

Survivors include his fiancée, Megan Elmore of Newbern, Tenn.; one son, Malachi Hinman of Newbern, Tenn.; his father, Michael Brian Hinman (Trish)of Cairo; his mother, Dana Abernathy Sheldrake of Las Vegas, Nev.; five brothers, Michael Brian Hinman Jr. of Dyersburg, Tenn., Nicholas Gage Hinman of Bryan, Texas, Elijah Hinman of Cape Girardeau, Zachary Fann of Jackson, Mo., and Cody Brown of Jackson, Mo.; a sister, Allilia Hinman of Cairo; grandparents Roy Hinman Sr. of Dyersburg, Tenn., and Laura Snider of Jackson, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Nancy Joan Hinman and Mark Felty.
