Dale Edward Archey

Dale Edward Archey, age 74, of Buncombe, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at Mercy Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

He was born Nov. 4, 1951 to Robert Wilson and Ruth Elizabeth (Thibodeau) Archey in Chicago, Ill.

After graduating high school, Dale went into the military and served in the United States Army. After leaving the military, he became a truckdriver. 

Dale loved the outdoors, loved to tell jokes and playing Farkle with family and friends, and was a fun guy to be around.

Survivors include his daughters, Christina Tellor and Sandra Archey; grandchildren, Lee (Holly) Tellor, Jay Tellor, Christopher Tellor, and Juliaunna (Ty) Cox and five great grandchildren; sister, Marge Malinowski, and brother, Daniel (Mary) Archey; step children, Deloris Tuttle, Kim Turpin, and Randy Field; step grandchildren Colin Turpin, Trever Turpin, Ian Turpin, and Savannah Michael; along with many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Lee Archey.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 7 p.m. with Mike Miller officiating at Crain Funeral Home in Anna. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 5 p.m until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

The cremation of Dale Edward Archey will be personally handled by the staff of Crain Funeral Home.
