Dale L. Toler

Dale L. Toler, age 77, of Murphysboro, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 5, 2025 at Integrity of Cobden.

He was born on Aug. 15, 1948 to Lawrence and Lillian L. (Nance) Toler in Union County, Illinois.

Dale was a veteran of the United States Navy. He worked in Graphic Communications within the Printing Industry for many years and was a Life Member of the Graphic Communications International Local 518. 

He was also a member of the Murphysboro Church of the Nazarene. Previously, he was a member of and taught Sunday to 5th and 6th Grade boys at the Church of the Nazarene in Oregon, Illinois. Dale enjoyed traveling by car and plane.

Survivors include nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his mother and sister, Shirley.

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, Oct. 16  at 10 a.m. with Rev. Jim Frye officiating at the Alto Pass Cemetery in Alto Pass, Ill. 

Military honors will be accorded by American Legion Post 127 and the US Navy funeral honors team.
