Elmer LeRoy Tellor

Elmer LeRoy Tellor, age 67 of Jonesboro, died Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at his home. 

He was born on June 10, 1958 in Anna, the son of Floyd William and Catherine (Beltz) Tellor. He married Sherry Lynn Newberry on April 18, 1989.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry Lynn Tellor; longtime girlfriend, Sherry Stoner; children, Larry Tellor, Eli (Miranda) Tellor, Justin (Dani) Tellor, Brandi Yates, Orry Dale and Chassidy (Monty) Farris; grandchildren, Kynleigh, Larry Jr., Greyson, Chaice, Aden, Katie, Stephanie, Shaylee, Addison and Lyza; siblings, Belinda Peterman, Holly Tellor, Darlene Brown, Walter Smith and Bobby Smith; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Larry Tellor and Floyd Tellor, Jr.

Elmer worked in construction, building homes throughout the area. He was a talented stone mason.

He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. They will remember his great sense of humor.

He will certainly be missed.

Graveside funeral services for Elmer Tellor were held on Friday, May 22, 2026 at Kelly Cemetery with Dave Maragni officiating. Interment followed. 

Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions can be made to Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses.
