Emma Hileman

Emma Hileman, 91, of Anna, died Friday, Feb. 11, 2022, at Union County Hospital in Anna. 

She was born on Jan. 18, 1931, in Union County, the daughter of Fred Jacob and Nellie G. Eddleman Hileman. 

Survivors include her sister-in-law, Bonnie Hileman; a brother-in-law, John J. Ligon; nieces and nephews Douglas (Beth) Hileman of Anna, Kurtis (Melanie) Hileman of Jonesboro, Russell (Sherri) Hileman, Lynn (Connie) Hileman, Brenda Hileman, Joni (Don) Yates, John P. (Cheryl) Ligon and Lisa (Donald) Skelton, all of Anna; 19 great-nieces and nephews; 35 great-great-nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, William E. Hileman; and  a sister, Louise Ligon.

She attended Center Hill Grade School and Anna-Jonesboro Community High School. She worked at Choate Mental Health and Developmental Center in Anna for 39 years. She was a member of the Anna First Baptist Church.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Interment was in the Anna Cemetery. 

Memorials can be made to the Lottie Moon Mission at Anna Heights Baptist Church.
