Florence Mae ‘Fanny’ Winston

Florence Mae “Fanny” Winston, 60, of Jonesboro, died at 5:36 p.m. Monday, April 3, 2017, at Herrin Hospital.

She was born on April 16, 1956, in Stoddard County, Mo., the daughter of Clarence and Little G. Wells Winston.

She is survived by all her loving family and friends at Chamness Care. Throughout her life Fanny endured many years of hardships, but in 2012 she hit the gold mine when she came to live at Chamness Care. As she carved out a new life for herself she made many friends and became family.

Memorial services for Ms. Winston were at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 12, at the Oasis of Grace Church on Davie Street in Anna, with Tasha Faire officiating. Everyone was asked to wear sunglasses for the service.
