Garry Victor Glasco
Garry Victor Glasco, age 91 of Wolf Lake, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2026 at his home.
He was born on March 3, 1935 in Jonesboro to Claude Ernest and Ada (Godwin) Glasco.
He married Ginger Sue Ward on Aug. 22, 1954 in Wolf Lake. She preceded him in death on Nov. 6, 2014.
Garry is survived by his son, Kerry (Sandy) Glasco; grandchildren, Shelly (Tom) Pearl, Mindy Keene, Jaime (Tima) Escue, Jennifer Escue and Jorden (Emily) Glasco; great-grandchildren, Kamryn, Kacey, Princeton, Paisley, June, Ellie, Georgia, Luke, Ryan and Jaylynne; son-in-law, Ernie Escue; brother, Gerald Glasco; sister, Ernestine (Don) Gamble; sisters-in-law, Lillian Chaney and Miram Ward; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including his farm companion, Nugget.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ginger Sue Glasco; parents, Ernest and Ada Glasco; infant son, Garry Lynn Glasco; daughter, Vicki Escue; infant grandson, Brandon Carroll; brothers, Kenny Glasco and Keith (Barbara) Glasco and sister-in-law, Sue Glasco.
Garry was a faithful Christian man and longtime member of Lockard Chapel Baptist Church. He was a proud farmer, working with Kerry on the family farm for over 60 years.
He was a loving and generous man, affectionately known to his grandchildren as “Popo”.
He enjoyed traveling, as long as it didn’t involve an airplane, and telling stories and visiting with his friends at the coffee shop on the square.
Funeral services for Garry Glasco were held on Friday, March 20, 2026 at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Harold Gates and Bill Littrell officiating.
