Heather Hunt Crecelius

Heather Hunt Crecelius, 38, of Bethalto, and formerly of Villa Ridge, died at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2023, in St. Louis.

She was born on March 19, 1985.

She was a daughter, sister, mother, aunt, niece, cousin and friend to many.

She was a blessing to anyone who knew her. She had the sweetest, purist loving heart who never met anyone she didn’t love. Her laughter and hugs will be missed.

Family was very important to her and she loved everyone with her whole heart. 

She had two sons who were her biggest blessings and the loves of her life: Alex Crecelius and Jonathan Crecelius.

In addition to her sons, she is survived by her mother, Teresa Foley; sister Tiffany Hunt (Andrew Dodge); brothers Randy Hunt Boner (Carmen Campbell) and Chris Hunt Boner (Dani Doty); her foster parents, Jerald and Beth Windings; a brother, Jake Windings; aunts and uncles Myndi and Randy Duke, James Windings and John and Jenny Windings; nieces and nephews Chloe Hunt, Willow Hunt, Journey Reece, Eric Hunt, Austyn Beverly Ann Brady and Gracie Arabella Brady; special step-nieces and nephews; and many great-aunts and uncles, cousins and special friends.

She is now “Dancing in the Sky,” with a love she has never known. We love you, Heather.

A memorial graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 3, at Liberty Cemetery near Pulaski. John Windings and Pastor Clint Nale will officiate. Inurnment to follow.
